My work mainly focuses on the frugal design and control of embedded (linear and nonlinear) cyber-physical and robotic systems with limited resources, with a great interest in reducing their resource usage. Specifically, I am investigating non-periodic sampling using event-driven techniques.

  • Ongoing projects:
    • eSWARM: exploratory project on design and control of a modular, reconfigurable system of UAVs (funded by ICube as a cross-disciplinary project, 2023-2025).
    • muteSWARM: joint project on swarm formation control based on acoustic localization, with ICube, GIPSA-lab and ISM (funded by the French national research agency, 2023-2027).
    • STRAD: joint project on street art drone, with ICube, GIPSA-lab, Polyvionics and Spacejunk Art Center (funded by the French national research agency, 2022-2026).
    • TIR4sTREEt: joint project on thermal infrared for street trees, with ICube, INRAE and Strasbourg Eurometropole (funded by the French national research agency, 2022-2026). This is a great opportunity for our dextAIR robot in a urban micro-climatology context.
